Terms of Service
Last updated: April 17, 2026
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using WriteMask, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The Service
WriteMask is an AI-powered text rewriting tool. You submit text, and we return a rewritten version. We do not guarantee that output will bypass any specific detection tool, as detection technology changes continuously.
3. Your Responsibilities
- You must be at least 18 years old to use WriteMask.
- You are responsible for how you use the output. WriteMask is a writing tool — compliance with your institution's or employer's policies is your responsibility.
- You must not use WriteMask to generate content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes on others' rights.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
4. Accounts and Billing
Free accounts have daily word limits. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard — your access continues until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.
5. Intellectual Property
You own the text you submit and the output you receive. WriteMask does not claim any rights over your content. The WriteMask brand, website, and underlying technology remain our property.
6. Limitation of Liability
WriteMask is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to academic penalties, content detection, or loss of data. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the service, or engage in fraudulent activity. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email.
